The All Blacks have moved to quash talk of a Rugby World Cup-ending injury to Sonny Bill Williams, following a report from the New Zealand Herald this morning.

Citing former Rugby World Cup commentator Hamish McKay , Williams' World Cup campaign was suggested to be on borrowed time, with Manawatu and Hurricanes midfielder Ngani Laumape travelling to replace him.

However, All Blacks media manager Joe Locke confirmed to media today that any reports of Williams' condition were false, and that no other players were heading home as of yet.

"The SBW reports are not true," Locke wrote.

The All Blacks will address media later this afternoon NZT.
