All Blacks coach Steve Hansen says that there are positives to be taken from his side's 16-all draw with the Springboks, having been forced to settle for a stalemate in Wellington.
Leading their opponents in the dying moments, the All Blacks conceded a last gasp try to reserve halfback Herschel Jantjes seeing the two sides share the spoils at Westpac Stadium.
Fronting media after the match, Hansen said that despite throwing away a lead, he had reason to be happy with the All Blacks' performance.
"It was a Test match," Hansen said.
"Obviously the last couple of seconds was pretty tough to watch. But we've done that to plenty of sides ourselves, sometimes you've just got to take your own medicine and move on."
After looking far from their best against Argentina last week, Hansen also says that he isn't worried about the All Blacks' form - two months out from the Rugby World Cup in Japan.
"We've chosen over the last two weeks to play two different sides. [We] haven't had a lot of preparation time so we knew that at times - with the new stuff we were introducing that we were going to be a little off.
"And we were, but there's enough signs there to say that if we keep working away, get our timing better, get our execution better, then we're going to be able to hurt some teams.
"We're not going to panic, we'll just to take a big deep breath and keep moving."
The All Blacks are next in action in the first Bledisloe Cup Test, taking on the Wallabies in Perth on August 10.
