The All Blacks' Crusaders contingent are ready to fire this Saturday, with a whopping eight of the starting XV, members of the current Super Rugby champion team.
Having sat out of last week's win over Argentina, the Crusaders are back in contention for Test selection, with coach Steve Hansen awarding members of the Canterbury side with starting spots, with another on the bench.
The forwards in particular have a heavy Crusaders-flavour about them, boasting six of the starting eight.
The front row of Joe Moody, Codie Taylor and Owen Franks are joined by Sam Whitelock in the locking department, while Matt Todd and Kieran Read are two of the three loose forwards.
Speaking to media in Wellington today, Todd spoke of the advantage of having that continuity from club to Test level, starting with Saturday night.
"There's plenty of familiarity there, especially in a week like this, early in the season where you're still getting combinations, you haven't had a lot of time together as a group," he said.
"I guess the more familiar you are with the guys around you, the easier it is.
"There's new calls, new structures you've got to learn, so that's what we've spent a fair bit of time on this week, getting that understanding of the structures and getting the calls right and stuff.
"That stuff you've got to learn, but when you've played with certain players a lot, you've got an understanding of what they're trying to do, where they're going to be, so that certainly helps."
