Kindergarten teachers have until this evening to vote on the Government's latest pay offer.

If accepted, kindy teachers would receive pay parity with primary and secondary school teachers.

The proposed settlement would mean a pay rise of at least 18.5 per cent by July 12 2021.

It includes increasing the number of adults per child ratio. (Source: Other)

It comes after four days of negotiations between the Ministry of Education and kindergarten employers.

The vote closes at 5pm, with a result expected tomorrow.
