Woman killed, two others injured, in North Auckland crash

A woman has died, and two other people are injured, in a crash north of Auckland.

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle crash on Grand Drive, in Orewa, about 10.20am.

Cordons are in place on Grand Drive and motorists are advised to avoid the area, police said in a statement.

The road is expected to be closed for at least another hour.

The serious crash unit is in attendance and police are in the process of notifying the woman’s next of kin.
