A man has been arrested at an Auckland motel, where the bomb squad was called in over "suspicious items".
Just before midday, a man was arrested by police at the Lincoln Motel, Henderson for breaching his release conditions.
Police said the area was cleared and a cordon was put in place as a precaution while the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team (NZDF) were called to examine the items.
Police are satisfied there is no risk posed by the items and the cordon will be removed shortly.
