One person in serious condition after becoming trapped under truck in New Plymouth

Emergency services have rushed to save a person trapped under a truck in New Plymouth this afternoon.

Fire and Emergency NZ say they were alerted to the incident around 1pm and three fire engines were sent to the scene.

St John says the person has been rescued and taken to Taranaki Base Hospital in a serious condition.
