Fears for welfare of man, 71, missing from Lower Hutt

There are fears for a Lower Hutt man who's been missing since Thursday morning.

Police say Warren Nelson, 71, was last seen on the morning on June 6.

Mr Nelson has been reported missing from Rata Street in Naenae.

Police say they and Mr Nelson's family have concerns for his welfare.

Mr Nelson is of a slim build, 175cm tall and likely to be wearing jeans.

Anyone who has seen Warren is asked to call Police on 04 560 2600 .
