Motorcycle rider dies after crash involving car in Westport

One person has died after a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Westport today.

Police say the crash happened at the intersection of Brougham St (State Highway 67) and Domett Rd at around 5.50pm.

The motorcyclist died a the scene.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
