Fog restrictions lifted after more than 100 domestic flights affected at Auckland Airport

Fog caused headaches today for passengers at Auckland Airport with 58 domestic flights cancelled due to conditions and 54 domestic regional flights delayed.

The restriction was lifted just before 1pm.

International flight, Samoa Airways OL731 from Apia was diverted to Christchurch Airport, otherwise, no other international flights were affected. 

Domestic flights to Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Queenstown were not affected by the fog.  

Passengers are still advised to visit the Auckland Airport website for the latest flight arrival and departure information.
