Young flyer Caleb Clarke has inked a three-year deal with the Blues, announcing today that he will stay on with the Auckland franchise until 2022.

The 20-year-old winger said growing up playing representative rugby for the Blues, it was an easy decision to stay put.

"There is a lot of young boys here, me and Dalton [Papali'i] and Rieko [Ioane] as well, we are all in that age group growing up in the Blues with the 14s, 16s and 18s, we all did that," said Clarke.

"It's cool seeing us all come through being led by the older ones like Patty [Tuipolotu]."

The Blues also announced several more re-signings today, with Otere Black, TJ Faiane, Sione Mafileo, Stephen Perofeta, Tom Robinson and James Parsons re-signing until 2021.

"I think it's a great sign for us to stay and that the times ahead are looking really bright, we're just excited for the future.

"With all the young boys and older guys staying, it's a good mix."

Clarke made his debut for the Blues last year against the Waratahs and has played six matches for the Auckland franchise.

The Blues travel to Hamilton this Saturday to take on the Chiefs for their round nine Super Rugby clash.
