Highlanders enforcer Elliot Dixon isn't letting his side's current losing streak get the better of him, saying his team still have the "belief" to excel and lift in the Super Rugby competition.

The Otago franchise have dropped their last four games in tightly contested fixtures.

Dixon said that he is confident his team will bounce back as they prepare for the Crusaders in Christchurch on Friday.

"We kind of know where we are, we know where we want to go," said Dixon.

"We know we have got the squad and I think the team members and the belief and the culture to do it [to win].

"We're playing against really top sides, we are just letting moments slip."

The Highlanders last win was in round two in February against the Queensland Reds in Dunedin.
