Tom Walsh has added another title to his impressive trophy cabinet, this time taking out the Australian Athletics Championships' shot put in Sydney.
With his third throw being an impressive 21.91m, Walsh was easily the pick of the field competing at today's event at Sydney's Olympic Park.
Walsh's next closest challenger was Australia's Damien Birkenhead, well back of the Kiwi having thrown a best of 19.79m. Germany's Jan Jeuschede finished third, registering a best of 18.39m.
Fellow Kiwi Ryan Ballantyne took out fourth place, just one centimetre off the podium - with a best effort of 18.38m.
The throw was Walsh's best since August 2018, just shy of breaking the 22m barrier.
