Rising Kiwi sprinting star Eddie Osei-Nketia has added another title to burgeoning collection, taking out the men's 100m title at the Australian Athletics Championships in Sydney last night.
Having already run a personal best time of 10.19 seconds in the semi-final, the 17-year old Scots College student returned with a dominant display in last night's final, running a time of 10.24 seconds to take first place in the senior men's division adding to his New Zealand title won in Christchirch last month.
"I couldn't believe it myself," Osei-Nketia said afterwards.

"Last month when my dad entered me in the opens I was kind of scared due to the big names but my dad told me to concentrate on my own race and that's what I did."
Osei-Nketia is now just 0.02 seconds off Kiwi Olympian Chris Donaldon's career personal best time.
