One person injured in Tokoroa house fire

One person has suffered burns in a large house fire in Tokoroa this morning.

Fire and Emergency NZ were called to the scene on Dalmeny Street in the Waikato town at 5.50am, a Fire communications spokesperson told 1 NEWS.

The injured person is being treated by St John.

There have been no reports of evacuations or risk to surrounding properties.

The fire is now believed to be contained.
