The Crusaders have named a full-strength side for Friday's Super Rugby match against the Hurricanes in Wellington.
All Blacks skipper Kieran Read will start at number eight after a four-month lay-off due to a back injury.
"It's been awesome watching the boys go well, but I have been really enjoying training the last few weeks," said Read.
"Basically at full intensity [training] and enjoy putting them under pressure, for me it's been that time when you have missing being out on the field. Having that the last couple weeks, so I can't wait now."
Richie Mo'unga slots back at first-five with Jack Goodhue named to partner up with Ryan Crotty in the midfield.
Scott Barrett returns to the starting side after being rested last week, with Sam Whitelock getting the nod to start next to him in the locking department.
The last time the Crusaders faced the Hurricanes the defending champions came out on top 38-22.
"All New Zealand derbies are that way [tough], especially the Hurricanes. They are a quality outfit," Read said.
"They've shown over the last few weeks that they have really started to click in their attack.
"It's going to be a dangerous game for us, we have got to turn and really show our heart and character."
The Hurricanes and Crusaders are locked at 19 points each at the top of the New Zealand Super Rugby conference ladder.
