Christchurch secondary schools are set to have a new and improved structure to manage enrollment numbers.

All public high schools will be zoned across the city as part of a seven year plan.

Seven schools are yet to implement new plans, whereas the remaining schools already have approved zoning structures set in place.

Locals have a month to give feedback on the proposals before they’re presented to the ministry of education.

If successful, changes could be put in place as soon as January 2020.
