The man charged with the murder of Denver Chance has appeared in the Papakura District Court this morning.
Mr Chance's body was located at a property in Kingseat, South Auckland, yesterday afternoon.

The 41-year-old accused was arrested outside a bar in Mount Eden last night and was this morning granted name suppression.
Police began an extensive search for Mr Chance after he went missing from his Mairangi Bay, North Shore, home on February 24.

Over the past two weeks police had been appealing for sightings of the 43-year-old's red Nissan Skyline which had been spotted around Auckland.
Police say they made 'significant progress' over the weekend. An investigation team were lead to the address in Kingseat as a result of combing through cellphone data and CCTV footage.
After conducting a search warrant on the Linwood Road property, they found what they believe to be Mr Chance’s body.
A post mortem will be carried out this morning.

The accused appeared before the community magistrate. He’s been remanded in custody.
He’ll appear in the Auckland High Court on March 27.
