Man left hospitalised after serious assault at Six60 concert in Dunedin

A man has been left in hospital after being assaulted at Six60's Dunedin concert last night.

Police say the man was assaulted around 8:30pm near the queue for alcohol at Forsyth Barr Stadium.

He was seriously injured and remains in hospital.

A 29-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent and is due to appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow.

Police are appealing for information from anyone at the concert who witnessed the assault.
