The Black Caps have claimed three wickets on the third morning of the second Test against Bangladesh, after rain wiped the first two days of play.
With New Zealand captain Kane Williamson choosing to bowl first, the Black Caps were made to work for their first breakthrough on a green looking pitch, with Bangladesh openers Tamim Iqbal and Shadman Islam putting on 75 runs for the first wicket.
Islam was the first to go, caught at slip by Ross Taylor off the bowling of Colin de Grandhomme, out for 27.
Mominul Haque was the next batsman, making a gritty 15 runs from 38 balls before being caught by BJ Watling off a Neil Wagner bouncer.
Wagner would end the session with the wicket of Mohammad Mithun, caught behind by Watling for three, having survived a review the ball before.
Bangladesh finished the session on 127/3.
