Police Dive Squad searches for missing Masterton man

Police say they remain determined to find missing Masterton man Gurwinder Singh Dandian, who was last seen on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old was reported missing on March 5 when Police and volunteers conducted a great search in the Cape Palliser area in an effort to locate him.

Mr Dandian was last seen near a beach 1.5 kilometres of Cape Palliser Lighthouse around 4.30-5pm that day.

Yesterday the Police Dive Squad completed a water search and a shoreline search for Mr Dandian.

Police say there will be further search plans that will take place on the shoreline, as well as an aerial search of the area.

They say Mr Dandian's vehicle as well as other belongings have been located in the Cape Palliser area.

Police ask anyone in the Cape Palliser area who may have seen him to come forward and to contact police.
