Driveway accident: Toddler hit by car in Hamilton East

A one-year-old child has been hit by a car in a driveway in Hamilton East this morning.

The child suffered serious injuries and has been taken to Waikato Hospital, police say.

Police remain at the scene and say they have begun an investigation into the accident.
