Identity of man whose body was found on rural property north of Dunedin revealed

Police have named the man whose body was found in a rural location north of Dunedin last Monday.

He was Brent Andrew Bacon, 45, of St Clair, police said.

A 37-year-old man was charged with his murder, while a 30-year-old woman was charged with being an accessory to murder after the body was found on Steep Hill Road, north of Waitati.

The man and woman appeared via video link in Dunedin District Court on Thursday.
