Two people in serious condition following car crash in west Auckland

Two people are in a serious condition following a car crash in west Auckland this afternoon.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Taupaki Road and Waitakere Road at around 4.30pm, police told 1 NEWS.

The patients were transported to Auckland Hospital, St John said.

Diversions are in place and motorists have been asked to avoid the area.
