Former All Blacks winger Julian Savea has again come under fire, this time from the daughter of Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal, having been dropped ahead of his side's 38-11 win over Pau.
After public criticism from Toulon owner Boudjellal last week, Savea found himself axed from the Toulon matchday squad for their Top 14 clash with Pau, not even named on the substitutes bench.
Toulon produced arguably one of their best displays of the season , running in four tries as Savea's replacement French wing Daniel Ikpefan, scored to put the former All Blacks and Hurricanes star's spot under pressure.
However, the worst was yet to come for Savea, with Boudjellal's daughter Rose following in her father's footsteps, taking to Twitter to criticise Savea.
"Excellent match from Julian Savea," she wrote sarcastically, ribbing the fact that the winger had been dropped.
Despite the win, Toulon still languish in 10th on the Top 14 overall ladder, languishing after a season that's seen them only register seven wins from 17 matches.
