Police are looking for a man after a 37-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the Waikato town of Raglan.
The incident occurred shortly before 10pm yesterday in a small park at the intersection of Tahuna and Nihinihi Avenues.
Police are asking anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or people seen in that vicinity between 9 and 11pm to come forward.
"We believe someone will know this man and we are keeping an open mind as to why he was in this area," Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greene.
"It is possible that he lives in the area or was a visitor, or he could have just been in the area after a night out."

Police are also asking residents and those with CCTV cameras who saw anything to contact police.
