With British PM Teresa May revealing during a recent discussion about food waste in UK's parliament that she scrapes mould off her jam and eats the rest, TVNZ1's Seven Sharp decided to find out how safe mouldy food is.

After finding some disgusting mouldy food in TVNZ's news and current affairs kitchenette, co-hosts Hilary Barry and Jeremy Wells went to an expert for their opinion.
