Two Southampton football fans have been detained by police, allegedly caught mocking the death of Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala.
Sala, 28, disappeared during his flight over the English Channel last month, with his body discovered earlier this week.
With Cardiff travelling to Southampton's St Mary's Stadium for this morning's Premier League clash, both sides donned black armbands and observed a minute's silence.
However, two fans were pictured making aeroplane gestures, with Southampton quick to take action against the pair.
"Southampton Football Club can confirm that two fans were detained and had their details taken by police during our match against Cardiff City on Saturday," Southampton said in a statement.
"The club will continue to work with Hampshire Police to identify any individuals deemed to have made indecent gestures towards Cardiff supporters.
"Such behaviour has no place in our game and will not be tolerated at St Mary's.
"The club will be taking an extremely firm stance against anyone involved and intends to ban those supporters identified."
Cardiff would win the match 2-1 to boost their hopes of Premier League survival.
