The Powerball jackpot has been struck for the second time in as many weeks with a lucky punter from Auckland pocketing $8 million in tonight's Lotto draw.
The $8 million prize is made up of $7 million from Powerball First Division and $1 million from Lotto First Division.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Auckland.
A lucky Palmerston North man took home $10.2 million at the end of January. The man celebrated his multi-million dollar win with a French toast breakfast.
In tonight's Strike Must Be Won Draw, the $700,000 jackpot was shared by 119 players who each take home $6,517.
The winning stores and locations will be available on MyLotto on Monday morning.
Anyone who bought a ticket for tonight's draw should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.
