Stretch of SH2 to close tomorrow following logging truck crash in Hastings this morning

A section of road in Hastings will take four hours to clear tomorrow morning following a crash today.

Police were called to a logging truck crash on State Highway 2, in Tangoio, about 6.30 this morning.

The truck driver received minor injuries.

Senior Constable Bryan Farquharson said a portion of the highway, near Tangoio Settlement Road, would be closed from 9am tomorrow for about four hours while the scene is cleared.

There are no alternative routes or diversions while the road is closed and road users are asked to avoid the area.
