Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident involving an elderly male cyclist who died after being hit in Auckland.
On Monday between 6.30am and 7.45am, he was found injured at the intersection of Southern Cross Road and Sprott Road, Kohimarama.
He was transported to hospital where he died the following day.
Police want to speak to anyone who may have seen this incident or who assisted the injured rider, including a female at the scene who phoned the cyclist’s wife.
