All Blacks Sevens star Sam Dickson opened up about his horrendous recent injury record after arriving back into New Zealand fresh from victory at last weekend's Sydney Sevens.
Dickson, 29, arrived back into Auckland looking worse for wear, with his thumb in a cast and eyes blackened after two weeks to forget in terms of injuries.
"I've had a bit of a shocking run," Dickson told 1 NEWS.
"Last weekend in Hamilton I broke my nose. And then yesterday I ended up doing something to my thumb. Ripped it open and possibly fractured it.
"Bit of a rough couple of weeks, but hopefully I'll be alright for the next leg in Vegas and Vancouver."
