Car billows thick smoke after catching fire on Auckland motorway

A burning car on State Highway 16 in west Auckland is causing travel headaches today.

The incident happened on the Te Atatu off-ramp.

The fire has now been extinguished by Fire and Emergency NZ but motorists are warned to expect delays.
