Relive 1 NEWS NOW's live coverage of the fifth and final One Day International between the Black Caps and India from Westpac Stadium, Wellington.

10:35pm

NZ 217 all out - India win the series 4-1.

WICKET! Game over. Kumar comes back into the attack, and Boult looks to upper cut over third man. He doesn't get enough of it though, skying a catch down to Shami. He makes no mistake, completing the catch to wrap up the New Zealand innings.

India win by 35 runs.

NZ 217/9: 44 overs - Henry 17*, Boult 1*

Pandya goes short and Henry deposits him over midwicket for six! What does Pandya do? Same again! Two sixes in a row from Henry! Slower ball to finish.

NZ need 36 runs from 6 overs.

10:30pm

NZ 204/9: 43.1 overs - Henry 5*, Boult 0*

WICKET! Santner falls and we're nearly done. Pandya comes back into the attack, and gives Santner a leg stump yorker. However, Santner does well to flick it off his toes, straight to Shami at backward square.

Santner out for 22, Trent Boult the last man.

NZ need 49 runs from 6.5 overs.

10:27pm:

NZ 204/8: 43 overs - Santner 22*, Henry 5*

Henry and Santner still scoring at a steady rate, heading for a close finish at Westpac. Henry in particular looking good, smacking Shami straight back over his head for a boundary.

NZ need 49 runs from 7 overs.

10:17pm:

NZ 194/8: 40.5 overs - Santner 17*, Henry 0*

WICKET! Astle falls to Chahal's googly now. He looks to sweep, but the ball turns sharply back into him, hitting the back leg. Umpire raises the finger instantly. Astle reviews - more in hope than expectation.

Astle out for 10, Matt Henry in next.

NZ need 59 runs from 9.2 overs.

9:58pm:

NZ 176/7: 36.2 overs - Santner 9*, Astle 0*

WICKET!  Oh no. Neesham survives an LBW appeal against Jadhav, losing track of the ball looking for a leg bye. Dhoni then fires in the throw, catching Neesham short of his ground. Stupid run-out for the Black Caps sees Neesham go for 44. Todd Astle in next.

NZ need 77 from 13.4 overs.

9:48pm:

NZ 162/6: 35 overs - Neesham 32*, Santner 7*

Neesham starting to stamp his mark now, smacking Shami for back to back boundaries. The required target is now less than 100 for the Black Caps.

NZ need 91 from 15 overs.

9:42pm:

NZ 152/6: 34 overs - Neesham 24*, Santner 6*

Neesham takes the attack to Pandya, launching a mighty six over wide long on. Santner then turns Pandya into leg to scamper two runs and bring up the Black Caps' 150, 11 from the over.

NZ need 101 from 16 overs.

9:26pm:

NZ 135/6: 31 overs - Neesham 14*, Santner 0*

NZ need 118 from 19 overs.

9:14pm:

NZ 119/5: 28.3 overs - Neesham 9*, de Grandhomme 0*

WICKET! Latham goes LBW. Chahal goes relatively straight with a googly, and Latham misses the sweep. After a brief conference with Neesham, Latham walks off, but that looks like it's pitched outside leg?

Either way, Latham out for 37, Colin de Grandhomme replaces him.

NZ still need 124 from 21.3 overs.

9:03pm

NZ 105/4: 25.4 overs - Latham 32*, Neesham 0*

WICKET! Williamson goes! Jadhav drops it short, and Williamson looks to pull him over midwicket for six. He doesn't get enough out to the longest boundary, Dhawan coming in off the rope to take the catch.

Williamson goes for 39, Jimmy Neesham the new batsman.

New Zealand need 148 from 24.2 overs.

8:52pm

NZ 96/3: 23 overs - Williamson 35*, Latham 27*

These two have passed the 50 run partnership, keeping the required run rate below six an over. Williamson is starting to look really good, well backed up by Latham.

New Zealand need 157 runs from 27 overs to win.

8:35pm

NZ 70/3: 18 overs - Williamson 25*, Latham 12*

Williamson starting to find his touch after the drinks break, firstly working Shankar behind square for four with a back-cut, before driving straight back down the ground for another.

They take 10 from the over. The partnership so far is 32 runs between Williamson and Latham.

8:15pm

NZ 44/3: 14 overs - Williamson 8*, Latham 3*

These two having to deal in singles at the moment, with the boundaries having dried up. Latham survived a near drag back onto his own stumps.

NZ still need over 200 with seven wickets in hand.

8:00pm

NZ 38/3: 10.2 overs - Williamson 5*, Latham 0*

WICKET! Taylor falls LBW! Pandya comes into the attack and has his man second ball. He pitches one up that Taylor plays all around, missing, and hit on the pad. The umpire wastes no time in giving it out, Taylor thinks about the review before walking off.

Taylor out for one, Tom Latham in next.

7:52pm

NZ 37/2: 9.1 overs - Williamson 5*, Taylor 0*

WICKET! Munro chops on! Shami comes around the wicket, and goes wide to Munro. The left-hander plays away from his body, taking the inside edge and going back onto the stumps. Munro's return to the Black Caps yields just 24. Ross Taylor the new batsman.

7:46pm

NZ 30/1: 8 overs - Munro 17*, Williamson 5*

Williamson happy to deal in singles to play himself in, with India very keen to save runs inside the circle. Munro meanwhile has been somewhat starved of the strike, having faced just 13 balls so far.

7:27pm:

NZ 18/1: 3.3 overs - Munro 10*, Williamson 0*

WICKET! Shami goes short and Nicholls looks to pull. He doesn't time it at all though, and just spoons it to Jadhav on the edge of the circle. Nicholls falls for eight, Kane Williamson strides to the crease at first drop.

7:19pm:

NZ 11/0: 2 overs - Munro 4*, Nicholls 7*

Shami to take the ball at the other end, Munro on strike. First ball is worked through the leg side for one. Nicholls on strike. Second ball of the over is defended by Nicholls.

Shorter ball from Shami, and Nicholls gets off the mark with an inside edge down to fine leg for two. Good response from Nicholls! A beautiful punch back past the bowler beats the fielder to the boundary. The batsmen sneak a single off the final ball of the over.

7:14pm:

NZ 3/0: 1 over - Munro 3*, Nicholls 0*

Here we go then, Munro to face  up first, Kumar with the new ball. First ball is full, Munro looks to smash it straight but doesn't get the timing.

Second ball is pitched up, and Munro skies it! The ball just  beats the infield, the batsmen get back for two. Third ball is pushed to cover for one. Nicholls to face up. Kumar goes across Nicholls - who's happy to leave it through to the keeper.

Fifth ball is straight, Nicholls defends. The last ball keeps a little low, Nicholls defends though.

7:07pm:

We're back after the dinner break, the Black Caps will have a tricky chase for victory. Now just waiting on Nicholls and Munro to open the innings.

6:27pm:

IND 252 all out: 49.5 overs - Chahal 0*

WICKET! A run-out to finish, Chahal goes straight first ball, with Boult fielding off his own bowling. Shami tries to steal one, but is caught short by Boult, run out at the non striker's end. India all out for 252.

6:25pm:

IND 252/9: 49.4 overs - Shami 1*, Chahal 0*

6:22pm:

IND 249/8: 49 overs - Kumar 4*, Shami 0*

WICKET! Controversy. The last ball of the 49th over sees Neesham skied by Pandya, where Boult makes a brilliant running catch over his shoulder.

Pandya's not walking though. He's claiming a no-ball for height. The umpires check upstairs, and it's fine. Pandya dismissed for a rapid-fire 45 from 22.

Mohammed Shami in at 10.

6:10pm:

IND 223/7: 47 overs - Pandya 22*, Kumar 1*

Pandya now taking Astle apart. He smokes the leggie for six over midwicket from the second ball of the 47th over. He follows it up with another one, this time over cover! Astle under pressure now. Make that three in a row! This one much straighter, what does Astle do?

He goes wide, Pandya leaves expecting the umpire to step in, but he doesn't dot ball. Another wider one to finish, Pandya leaves.

6:04pm:

IND 203/7: 45.2 overs - Pandya 3*, Kumar 0*

WICKET! Henry gets Jadhav for his fourth! A good length ball again sees Jadhav chop onto his own stumps. Jadhav out for 34, India losing wickets in the final overs.

Bhuveneshwar Kumar the new man.

5:55pm:

IND: 190/6: 43.2 overs - Jadhav 25*, Pandya 0*

WICKET! Henry finally removes Rayudu! A length ball outside off sees Rayudu look to go over cover, but doesn't get enough of it, with the ball falling to Munro running in off the rope.

Rayudu falls for a brilliant 90, as Hardik Pandya comes in to finish the innings off.

5:41pm:

IND 168/5: 40 overs - Rayudu 75*, Jadhav 18*

Rayudu starting to fire now, hitting Munro's final over for 15 runs, including two huge sixes over midwicket. Into the final 10 overs now, India in a great position after their early wobbles. This partnership passes 50 as well.

5:20pm:

IND 129/5: 35 overs - Rayudu 52*, Jadhav 4*

Back to back boundaries off de Grandhomme sees Rayudu reach his half-century! It's been a patient effort from Rayudu, getting to his 50 from 86 balls, four boundaries and two sixes.

5:06pm:

IND 116/: 31.5 overs - Rayudu 44*, Jadhav 0*

WICKET! The partnership is broken by a run out! Shankar pushes a ball straight, and Rayudu hesitates in the middle. A mix up between the two batsmen sees Neesham fire the ball into Munro at the bowler's end, taking the bails off with a direct hit on the relay.

Shankar the man to go, run out for 45. Kedar Jadhav the new batsman.

5:01pm:

IND 109/4: 30 overs - Rayudu 41*, Shankar 41*

Todd Astle introduced for the first time.

4:44pm:

IND 88/4: 25 overs - Rayudu 29*, Shankar 32*

Santner comes into the attack and creates an opportunity, with Rayudu slicing one that Nicholls at point just couldn't reach on the edge of the circle! The first over of spin goes for seven runs, and that's the halfway stage of the innings.

4:37pm:

IND 78/4: 23 overs - Rayudu 24*, Shankar 27*

Fifty partnership between these two. Rayudu flicks de Grandhomme off his hip for four, before following it up with a six down over long on!

4:28pm

IND 57/4: 20 overs - Rayudu 12*, Shankar 20*

With 20 overs gone, Neesham and de Grandhomme are struggling to get the same kind of movement that Boult and Henry did at the top. As a result, India are slowly but surely fighting their way back into this innings, this partnership now 39 from 63.

4:09pm:

IND 40/4: 16 overs - Rayudu 3*, Shankar 12*

We're into drinks after the first hour, no question belonging to the Black Caps. This pair are starting to rebuild though, so far putting on 22 - the biggest partnership of the innings so far.

3:58pm:

IND 28/4: 13 overs - Rayudu 1*, Shankar 6*

Thirteen overs gone, India in real strife. Henry and Boult have bowled unchanged for the opening part of this innings, both getting the ball to move in the air and off the pitch. That's about to change though, Neesham coming into the attack.

3:44pm:

IND 18/4: 9.3 overs - Rayudu 1*, Shankar 0*

WICKET! Dhoni can't survive this one though! Boult cleans him up with a perfect left-armers delivery! It nips back towards off-stump, with Dhoni too slow to keep it out, gone bowled.

Dhoni goes for just one, Vijay Shankar given a promotion amid the chaos.

3:37pm:

IND 17/3: 8.1 overs - Rayudu 1*, Dhoni 0*

Here we go! Dhoni is hit on the pad bang in front by Henry and the umpire says not out. Williamson reviews straight away. No bat involved, is it hitting the stumps?

No! Ball tracking says missing leg. Dhoni survives.

3:30pm:

IND 17/3: 7 overs - Rayudu 1*, Dhoni 0*

WICKET! Three down and Henry has two! A back-of-a-length ball sees Gill fending at a ball outside off. He can only chip the ball to Santner at cover, doing well to take a smart low catch.

Gill out for seven, MS Dhoni the new batsman with his team in trouble.

3:24pm:

IND 12/2: 5.5 overs - Gill 5*, Rayudu 0*

WICKET! Boult joins the party! A short, wide ball from Boult has Dhawan looking to cut over third man, but there's not enough pace on the ball to go the distance. Henry takes a simple catch on the boundary.

Dhawan goes for six, Ambati Rayudu the new man.

3:17pm:

IND 8/1: 4.1 overs - Dhawan 5*, Gill 0*

WICKET! Henry strikes! An absolute beauty from Henry, pitching middle hitting off, Sharma's feet go nowhere as the ball crashes into the stumps.

Sharma out bowled for two, Shubman Gill the new batsman.

3:07pm:

IND 1/0: 2 overs - Sharma 1*, Dhawan 0*

Trent Boult to open up from the other end, first ball is outside off, Sharma leaves.

Second ball is right through Sharma! The ball swings and bounces back past the inside edge, but clearing the stumps, great signs for the bowlers here. Third ball is full and hits Sharma on the pad! Boult appeals, umpire says not out. Possibility of bat first. Williamson won't challenge. Replays show no bat involved.

Fourth ball is just a tad shorter, defended by Sharma. Fifth ball is wide again, Sharma leaves. Replays show that the LBW decision wouldn't have been overturned. Final ball is straighter, Sharma defends to midwicket, maiden over.

3:03pm:

IND 1/0: 1 over - Sharma 1*, Dhawan 0*

Matt Henry with the ball first up, Sharma on strike. The first ball is just back of a good length and straight, Sharma defends.

Second ball slightly fuller, Sharma pushes down the ground for no run. Third ball is wider outside off, moving away from the right hander, Sharma leaves alone. Fifth ball is an absolute beauty, moving past the outside edge of Sharma's bat.

Final ball of the over is wide, Sharma cuts but Williamson does well at point to make a stop, just a single from the opening over.

2:58pm

Kane Williamson leads the Black Caps out onto the field, followed by India's openers. First ball moments away.

2:35pm

PREVIEW

After slightly saving face with an emphatic eight wicket win over the tourists in Hamilton, the Black Caps head to the capital looking to at least finish the series on a high note.

Kane Williamson's side will be buoyed after having skittled India for 92 in Hamilton, looking to capitalise on the absence of Virat Kohli, however the return of MS Dhoni will certainly give the tourists a boost.

For the Black Caps, Martin Guptill is missing having injured his back in training yesterday, allowing for a quick return to the top of the order for Colin Munro.
