PREVIEW
Already 2-0 down, the Black Caps are now in a do-or-die situation, needing victory to stave off a series defeat at the hands of the high flying tourists.
Outclassed both in Napier, and at this very venue on Saturday, Kane Williamson's men are in dire need of an upturn in form, their batting woes against India's spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal brutally exposed.
What's more, the visitors will welcome back destructive all-rounder Hardik Pandya, having been flown back in after a suspension.
Don't expect too many changes from New Zealand, with the possible exception of the return of Mitchell Santner, allowing for the Black Caps to implement a twin-spinner strategy of their own.
Elsewhere, pressure is beginning to mount on opener Colin Munro, following a poor run of form with the bat in the 50 over format.
