The heroic Winter Olympics duo of Nico Porteous and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott have pulled off another one-two Kiwi combo after medalling at the X Games in the US on the same day.
The 17-year-olds were both in action in Aspen, Colorado, yesterday and managed to get on the podium at the invitation-only event - one of the most prestigious contests on the winter sports calendar.
Porteous was the first to medal, claiming a bronze in the men's freeski halfpipe, before Sadowski-Synnott followed up with a silver in the women's snowboard big air just over an hour later.
It's almost a mirror effort of their historic performances in PyeongChang last February when the pair ended New Zealand's 26-year Winter Olympics medal drought by both claiming bronze on the same day within hours of each other.

Porteous scored an 89.00 yesterday to finish behind American David Wise (90.33) and hometown hero Alex Ferreira (92.66) - which were the same top-three placings at last year's Winter Olympics as well.
"It was mad déjà vu," said Porteous.
"It hasn't really sunk in yet, I can't quite believe it. This comes close to the feeling of an Olympic medal. X Games is such a prestigious event in skiers’ eyes, this is definitely up there."
Sadowski-Synnott managed to go one place better than last year after she landed a backside 900 in her final run to move up from bronze.
"It's a dream come true to get on the X Games podium," she said.
"I didn't expect that coming here. I just wanted to put some runs down that I was stoked on and compete against the strongest snowboarders."
Both Porteous and Sadowski-Synnott are up for Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year at the Halberg Awards next month.
