Jacinda Ardern showed off her steadfast wit in Belgium today while participating in an exclusive, invitation-only interview with Politico Europe political editor Ryan Heath - her final engagement of her whirlwind European tour before heading home.

The 45-minute, mostly serious interview was interrupted mid-flow by a fun round of rapid-fire questions between the two - who had to compete to see who had had the most over-the-top experience at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Questions included, "Who have you done a double-take over?"; "How many royals did you chat with?"; and, "How many times did you slip on the ice?"

Heath told Ms Ardern the Dutch Government "was jamming eight people into each hotel room to save money".

"How many people slept in your hotel room?" he asked her.

Ms Ardern replied: "There was some bunking in the delegation, but not much. I however will put on record that I offered."
