Gyrocopter bursts into flames after crashing in Tararua

A gyrocopter set on fire after crashing in Tararua this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Dannevirke Aerodome at 7.38pm, police said in a statement.

One patient is said to be "up and walking around" after the incident.
