Direct hit! Jordie Barrett rifles in brilliant throw from the deep to run out former Black Cap Hamish Marshall

All Blacks utility Jordie Barrett showed his class on the cricket pitch, running out former Black Cap Hamish Marshall during their Black Clash Twenty 20 match at Hagley Oval in Christchurch this afternoon.

Barrett, 21, made a brilliant play in the 19th over, with his throw from deep extra cover finding it's mark, going onto crash into the stumps.

Marshall was caught well short of his crease as he and Black Caps legend Chris Harris tried to sneak in a double during Israel Dagg's over with the ball.

Team Cricket finished their innings with the bat with a total of 168-8.

Earlier in the innings for All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw made an excellent catch to dismiss former Black Caps captain Stephen Fleming.
