Steven Adams currently sitting in sixth spot in NBA All-Star fan vote polls

Kiwi NBA star Steven Adams has cracked the first list of fan votes for the NBA's All-Star game, coming in sixth for Western Conference frontcourt.

With fan voting now in full swing for next month's All-Star clash, Oklahome City Thunder centre - and New Zealand's sole NBA representative - Adams finds himself in sixth position for the Western Conference's front court position.

The star names currently in front of the Kiwi indicate the class of company that Adams finds himself in, with the likes of LeBron James (Lakers), Luka Doncic (Mavericks), Kevin Durant (Warriors), Anthony Davis (Pelicans) and Paul George (Thunder) occupying the top five spots.

Fan voting closes on January 21, with the All-Star line-ups to be revealed on January 24. The All-Star clash will be played in Charlotte on February 17.
