One person has been treated for smoke inhalation after a house bus caught fire on Lindis Pass this afternoon. 

Fire and Emergency NZ says they were called to the incident around 3:30pm on the Omarama side of Lindis Pass.

The house bus fire spread into surrounding vegetation and one person was treated for smoke inhalation.

The fire is believed to be contained.
