A truck breakdown blocked State Highway One at Warkworth, north of Auckland, this afternoon but has now been cleared.
Police say Brown Road, Warkworth, was blocked following a breakdown of a large truck at 12.20pm this afternoon.
The truck was blocking the north-bound lane and motorists were asked to avoid the area if possible.
Holiday traffic has been affected by the disruption but a police statement at about 3.15pm said the road was now clear.
