One person critically injured after three-car crash in Christchurch last night

One person has been left with critical injuries after a being involved in a three-vehicle crash in Christchurch last night.

Police say the person was injured in the accident at the intersection of Ensors Road and Ferry Road in the suburb at Waltham just before 7:30pm.

Ensors Road was closed as a result and police ask motorists to avoid the area if possible.

The Serious Crash Unit is examining the scene.
