Brave Christchurch boy who spent most of 2018 in hospital showered with toys and gifted $15,000 cash

Cameron McIntosh should have been starting intermediate this year, but because of a mystery medical condition, he's spent the entire year in and out of Christchurch Hospital.

This year alone he has had between 15 and 20 different surgical procedures.

However, the plucky youngster has faced all this adversity with a smile on his face.

Tonight on Seven Sharp's final show of 2018, Cameron and his mum Leah were surprised by Sam Wallace in hospital when he delivered an armload of toys and $15,000 from ASB Bank.
