Woman killed in motorbike accident in Tauranga

A woman in her 30's has been killed after falling off the back of a motorbike she was riding on this evening.

The accident happened around 5:50pm.

Police say two motorbikes were riding through the town centre on Bethlehem Road in Tauranga - the woman was riding as a pillion passenger and came off the bike.

Police say other riders suffered moderate injuries and have been taken to hospital.
