Two people dead after light plane crash at Raglan

Two people have died in a light plane crash at Raglan today.

Police say the crash occurred toward the shoreline of Raglan Harbour at the end of East Street at about 3.20pm.

Police have confirmed that two bodies have been recovered from the crash scene.

The Civil Aviation Authority told 1 NEWS it was a Van’s RV-4 light plane which crashed.
