US crooner John Mayer will be kicking off his 2019 world tour in Auckland in March next year.
The Your Body is a Wonderland singer's New Zealand leg of the tour will begin in Auckland's Spark Arena on Saturday, March 23, before jetting across the ditch for three shows in Australia.
"I can't think of a better place to start my world tour than New Zealand and Australia. It's been way too long since I've been back there," Mayer said in a statement.
Mayer's concert will be his first tour down under since 2014.
The seven-time Grammy winner will perform songs spanning Mayer's entire career, including hits like Gravity and Waiting on the World to Change.
Tickets for An Evening with John Mayer go on sale on Monday, December 17, at 11am.
Spark customers will be able to access a special pre-sale beginning on Friday, December 14, at 11am through to Sunday, December 16 at 5pm.
