Kiwi UFC fighter Israel ‘The Last Style Bender’ Adesanya will fight UFC great Anderson ‘Spider’ Silva in a blockbuster fight at UFC 234 in Melbourne on February 10, 2019.
Adesanya (4-0 in UFC) is one of the rising stars of the division and will be pitted against the 43-year-old former UFC middleweight champion from Brazil at Rod Laver Arena.
Silva (17-4 in UFC) is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time having won 16 consecutive fights from 2006 before losing four straight.
Both fighters are coming off wins over American Derek Brunson, with Adesanya knocking him out in the first round earlier this month at UFC 230 while Silva beat him by unanimous decision early last year.
The Nigerian born Kiwi fighter is undefeated in the UFC and could be a step closer a title shot after his next fight in the octagon. (Source: Other)
