Watch: 1 NEWS team accepts NZTV Award for Best News Coverage

The 1 NEWS team were thankful last night in their acceptance of the Best News Coverage award at the Huawei Mate20 New Zealand Television Awards.

1 NEWS supervising producer Tati Urale and presenters Peter Williams, Simon Dallow, Wendy Petrie and Daniel Corbett took to the stage last night to accept the award, with Tati, Peter and Wendy making brief but memorable speeches.

Overall, TVNZ people and programmes won 14 categories in the awards .
