The entire Auckland Tuatara squad hit the viaduct in Auckland yesterday, for a late publicity push before their first ever home game at McLeod Park in Te Atatu today.
The Australian Baseball League franchise braved a brief downpour in Auckland, as it all gets real ahead of the first pitch this afternoon.
"I'm pretty nervous like it's going to be pretty nerve-racking to be playing professional baseball in front of the family," said Tuatara pitcher Elliot Johnstone.
"I've always gone overseas to play at a high level, but I'm excited, can't wait for it."

The Tuatara take on the Brisbane Bandits who have won three of their first four games in the opening weekend.
